I would play with my Barbies and go into this world of fantasy. I was safe there. I never felt like it could be a career until I got to high school. When I got on the stage the first time for a school production and heard that applause I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I had always done things with video cameras growing up and my father. Just for play time sake we would make TV shows and I would direct movies with my Barbies and never gave it another thought to being a career.
