Winning ‘Best Actress’ for my lead role in LGBTQ genre short film “FAST HEARTS”, at the LA Short Film Festival was a spectacular moment because it sincerely felt like an affirmation of being on the right path. Having felt so aligned with the cast and crew during the filming of this story, this little nod from the universe was a sign that I had to keep working hard so that I could continue collaborating on meaningful projects like this one. My co-lead on this project, @leliaskips, also became one of my most trusted best friends, which was a defining moment in itself. The film can be seen on YouTube and has over 990K views.
