I collect books and gems. I’ve always wanted a big library in my house that’s several stories high with the ladder that rolls across the bookshelves. And I love gems because I’ve always been a believer of the metaphysical, astrology, and energy.
The advice I have for other women in this industry is that it’s not an easy road. They have to be strong, seek counsel, seek mentors, seek a therapist, because the rejections will really tug at your soul. You will fight the “I’m a failure” voice in your head often. But you have to hold onto… Read More @starvictoriadirector: What advice do you have for other women in the industry?
I’ve had many successful moments. Every time I got to direct a project and have a finished film to share with the world is a successful moment. I know this sounds absolutely insane. But every year I save all the drive-ons from studios I’ve gotten as a sort of measure of how much access I have in Hollywood. Bonus points for actual badges. This tradition was important to me as someone who temped a lot around various studios and worked as an… Read More @thewittygirl: What, if anything, do you collect?
