Words are the way forward. A twist of phrase or brilliant metaphor gets me hot. Being able to write those words or speak them is like breathing. So much soul in that.

A successful moment in my career is when I wrote, produced, and directed a short film, all while working full time as a director’s assistant on a tv show. I barely slept, but I got it done.
My biggest concern with the future is that people will stop fighting for injustices in the world after minor victories.
I strongly believe in Aristotle’s philosophy that everything happens for a reason. So I like to look at my successes, my failures, and the obstacles I face as defining moments in my life because I believe it all has a purpose for future events.

I got into this industry because I want to use my platform to bring unique stories and characters to life while also giving women and people of color an opportunity to tell their stories and share their passions with the world.
