Creating Bubbly Brown Sugar. I have won awards for writing, acting and overall storytelling at several series, and have had the opportunity to pitch at a major network. Who knows how that would have happened if I had not taken a leap of faith to create my own body of work?
A few months ago, my answer would have been something very personal, but with consideration for all that is happening, I am concerned about a civil war. I will not be black against white, but good verses evil.
When my mother died in 2016, I felt as if life became so dim. Nothing I was working on mattered anymore and I remember praying that God bless me with new life, purpose and for that spark.
