Hello Reel Women!

My name is Brittany Pacini and I am the Social Media Manager and Director of Marketing for The Reel Women.  I joined the Reel Women team in August 2016 as The Reel Women had evolved from a passion project into a legitimate community, therefore requiring more people to run.  My sole purpose for being on the team is to share The Reel Women with as many individuals as possible in order to specifically highlight the role of women currently found within the industry.  I joined the Reel Women because I am passionate about women in the workplace and have been a large supporter of the Reel Women Community since its inception.  In fact, I was the first follower on Instagram. 🙂

I currently live in Salt Lake City, UT, with my three-year-old son, Oliver.  I am an entrepreneur at heart and am also building my own online community, called Backpacks and Bras, where women of all ages can gather to 1) have a good laugh 2) embrace the passing embarrassments that life throws at us and 3) realize that these moments shape us into who we are.  I love all things comedy and have made it a life-goal to ensure I laugh every single day, get at least one good laugh out of my son each day and share the gift of laughter with others on a daily basis.  I have found that there is great power in laughter.

So I can hear a few of you asking, “so how does Brittany have the time and financial ability to focus on Reel Women, build her own online Community, build a mobile application, spend quality time with her three-year-old son and still have time to have fun and travel, all while working ONLY part-time for our Nation’s Veterans?” Shoot me an email with the subject “Do Tell!” to find out how.  I’ve got a pretty good gig going on.

I am so excited to be a part of the Reel Women team and I look forward to getting to know each of you better.  Send me an email and let’s set up a time to chat as I would love to get to know you and find out why you joined The Reel Women Community.

Social Media Manager and Director of Marketing for The Reel Women

Hello, my name is Beth Wickman Ekstrand (yes, it’s a mouthful) and I joined the dynamic duo of Ashley and Brittany on The Reel Women’s journey in the Fall of 2016. Ashley’s passion project has turned into something that I couldn’t help but get involved with. After spending 9 months pregnant, and another 6 months at home with my adorable, lovable son, Carter, I realized that there are so many women who struggle to “have their cake, and eat it too.” That’s where I want to help change the status quo. That’s also where The Reel Women can help.

As a driven, working woman, who now also just happens to be a mom, I decided to stand-up for what I believe in – in celebrating successful women, and helping to put them together in a place where their voices could be heard, in a community that truly cares about them. That’s what The Reel Women is. That’s what I’m hoping to help build up even more. By working as the Outreach and Program Manager, my goal is to find and reach more women in the entertainment business. I want to connect women in this industry to each other through our platform. I want to make sure your stories are told, your voices are out there, and that other women know who to turn to when they have questions, advice to give, and opportunities to collaborate. It is a win-win for us all.

Usually, people say they have to look out for themselves first and foremost. Well, while that may be true, I’m here to tell you that The Reel Women has your back. And, hopefully, I’ll be able to show you that as we work together to bring women together and celebrate in each others’ successes, we can provide you with a community of support.

If you, or someone you know, would make an excellent addition to our community, please reach out to me and let me know. No woman’s dreams or goals are too small or not important enough. We’re all in this together.

Here’s to the journey,

Outreach and Program Manager
