When I was a teenager I was cast in a horror/western shot in New Mexico, my home state. We were in the hills of Bonanza Creek Ranch on a beautiful summer afternoon. I looked around at everyone, all creative folks, working together to create this stunning sunset scene, and I just thought- wow, these are real people and these are real jobs and I’m here working alongside them.
