What’s a defining moment in your life? Moving to Los Angeles from the east coast. I grew up in Maryland, right outside of DC. Coming from a family of only engineers, filmmaking never seemed real. I didn’t know anyone who worked in film let alone have any idea how I was going to make a career out of it. Packing up my car with whatever would fit in the backseat and my camera, I took off for California. Driving to the west coast marked a huge moment.
