@sarahthack: What, if anything, do you collect? This sounds impossibly corny, but the answer is – memories. It’s one of the great perks of filmmaking as a profession – life generally happens in and/or around a camera. I tend to collect little videos over the years both of close friends and of people who come and go, and though I’m much lazier about it than I know I should be, whenever I string a collection of them together, I’m constantly reminded how incredibly blessed I am as a human, to have had the experiences I’ve had and to have known the wonderful people I’ve known.
