This is an interesting answer that is no longer technically true: I used to collect biographies of Zelda Fitzgerald, which is very specific. I’ve always been fascinated by her and feel she is under documented woman. I’ve just gotten busy and haven’t been to a lot of bookstores lately. But, when I go into a used bookstore, to this day, I’ll look through the biographies and see if I can find one that I don’t have. I think I have 6 or 7. They’re the only books in my apartment. It’s a weird specific collection. I don’t even know when it started. It was probably one of those days where I was in the Harvard bookstore and saw one and thought, “this is cool, I love her, I’d love to learn more about her” and then after I’d read one I’d just want to know more. That’s a good show-bizzy answer, right??
