I directed a short film produced by Sid Ganis titled A Children’s Song last year. My family flew in for the premiere at a theater in North Hollywood. I walked right up to the ticket window and bought a ticket to my own movie. It started with meetings in coffee shops and all night writing sessions, and four months later I bought the ticket and watched it in a theater.
