@bwangberg: What advice do you have for other women in the industry? My advice is not to be a victim. (And please take everything I say/write with a grain of salt because I don’t pretend to be an expert on anything.) This has two meanings. The obvious one first: If someone treats you less-than, stand up for yourself. Don’t let anyone walk over you. And here comes the second part… Know that this is an effing hard industry to break into and don’t expect special treatment from anyone. Protect yourself by doing your best work – ALWAYS. If you’re happy with the work you’re doing and you have a good attitude about it, someone else will notice.
