@411musicgroup: What’s a defining moment in your life? Starting to play violin at 11 changed my trajectory. I was sort of a nerdy kid with a lot of anxiety. I would question things around me and was always a little different. Practicing violin centered me and allowed me to focus on something fully. It was frustrating, but it was also rewarding. Learning to play and appreciate music taught me how to be patient and work through the hard times. A music and life balance is difficult to maintain. I try to take in the bad with the good and keep a positive outlook, even through the tough times.
