We have to understand that the power structure in the mainstream film Industry makes decisions based on outdated and outmoded sexist ideals that also continues to try to appeal to some bland myopia, but digital technology has given visual, and sound, artists more control over our arts and careers. Know and respect your audience’s intelligence. It’s way more enlightened than Hollywood gives it credit for, which is why the men in suits are always scrambling to keep up with fresh, forward thinking ideas. We must stay ahead of that curve because they are almost always behind it.
