It’s not easy, and often it’s not as simple as just “grab a camera and shoot something.” It can take time to find collaborators and resources. But ultimately, you have the power to create, to tell stories, without waiting for the industry gatekeepers to let you in.
Also, and this is a big one – help each other out. Share time, advice, skills, and support. No one can do this alone.
