It is a struggle and a fight to not only be seen, but to be taken seriously. And sometimes when you fight so hard and so often, it is easy to put up your fists and be gunning for a fight before a conflict emerges. Competition begins to overpower collaboration. I think the most important thing for women in the industry to realize is that we are in this together. We need to support each other rather than tear each other down. There is enough of that in this world already.
