With gun violence at it’s peak and an ugly one sided system that continues to fail black people, my biggest concern for the future is will change ever be equitable? As a black woman in film I am happy to see the industry making positive strides–we have more woman and more people of color controlling the narratives and it’s the most inspiring thing to see. Moreover, I am hopeful and thank god I get to live out a purpose that supports and produces change in the world!
