@whatifitworksmovie: What’s a defining moment in your life? Coming from a family of mostly doctors and lawyers, (and people who genuinely love physics and maths!) until high school finished, my love for drama and film was all good and well. You know, hobby material. When I received my final year score however, and the time came to choose a university degree, I think the expectation on me was to choose something ‘safe’ like Law or Commerce or Medicine. Suffice to say, I went the black sheep option, and chose the arts. This is when ‘hobby’ became the beginnings of career.

“What If It Works?” received numerous awards during its festival run including: 2018 Ozflix Independent Australian Film Awards where the lead actress Anna Samson won ‘Best Emerging Performer – Anna Samson – What If It Works?’. It was also nominated for 3 more Ozflix awards including Best Film, Best Actor, Best Screenplay. It also won Best Narrative Feature and Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature & Jury Prize (2nd Place) at the 2017 Anchorage International Film Festival.
