@gayedeebell: Why did you decide to get into this industry? I have been performing since I was 4 years old – singin’ with my mama in church! It is just in my DNA. I always knew I wanted to perform for a living although I didn’t really make the “decision” to pursue it until I was in high school. I was a musical theatre major in college and then got my MFA in acting and directing. It was a lot of theatre for a long time – which I still love – then a lot of improv – and now it’s more TV and film focused. A long time ago, an actor friend of my Mom’s said “Oh, god. If she can be happy doing anything else, tell her to do that!” Well, guess what… I couldn’t be.
