There are different obstacles for women of course, but different advantages as well. Personally I love being a woman in the industry. I think we need more women in the industry – particularly directors, producers and writers. And we need more women to do the hiring and firing. 🙂

I guess my advice is to start writing, start producing, start directing, even if it’s just for fun on your days off. We need your voice, we need your stories, we need your vision.
