Also, years ago, the renowned LA casting director Bobby Hoffman, who discovered Robin Williams, personally submitted me for a major role. I’d met him in Atlanta in his acting workshops. It was so unexpected. Until then I didn’t know how I fit in, or on what level I could compete. It was a major wakeup call for me that he had total faith in me, that my talent stood on its own and that I was enough.
