Inclusion for black women in film in any role in the industry, in any form. And not just getting the job, but working in a healthy environment, and with people who value what you bring to the production, as an individual. When black women are hired, we’re believed to be capable of the job but in some cases there’s lots of aggressive micromanagement that happens underneath the surface. This is not okay and it’s a concern for black women who continue to progress in filmmaking.
