The defining moment in my life was when my grandfather died when I was ten years old. It was in the first time in my life, nobody will live forever. Yes, it sounds very grim, but it made me push to try more things, do more, be more, and whatever I would do, it had to make myself and my family proud. It was not until I walked on Howard’s campus for a high school college tour, I could see my future. I could see where I was going – that was film.
