Growing up as a biracial, bisexual woman in the Texas, I rarely felt like I saw myself represented in mainstream media. I remember a handful of times thinking, “Hey, she looks like me”, “You know, I completely relate to this character”. 

If they weren’t going to tell stories that represented myself and other marginalized groups, then I would.
