@artemisfilmfest: What’s a defining moment in your life? I told my then husband, now ex, “Man, I’ll help you pack.”
The other: I was auditioning for a part to play a victim begging for her life. I practiced so hard for that audition!!! And I finally realized, no matter how good an actor I was, I would never believably sell a victim.

@rachelsamevans: What advice do you have for other women in the industry? Trust your own voice; don’t be a pushover even if you have the best intentions. That’s something I struggle with. I want everyone to feel good and I hate drama, so I tend to silence myself which doesn’t benefit anyone. You don’t have to know what you want, that changes, but you do have to know your worth and what you have to offer. If you’re in a job where you don’t feel like people appreciate the work you’re doing or you’re not respected, work hard- show don’t tell. If they still don’t treat you like you deserve to be treated quietly find a place that recognizes your ability. You’re not entitled to anything at all, so make sure you listen to people who might know more than you and make sure you deserve the respect you demand. ALSO don’t compromise your sense of self. @rachelsamevans: What is a successful moment in your career so far? I don’t know how to qualify success but there are some things I’m proud of. I’m proud of the weekly show I produce, Creep Show, with my dear dear friend Katie Felber. I’m proud of the youtube channel my company is launching April 4th, Snarled. I’m proud to know so many talented friends who have contributed to our network. Success is interesting, people like to quantify it with money or promotions, but I don’t know how to do that really.
