I recently made one year since joining the Local 600 (International Cinematographers Guild). It has been amazing! Working as a digital camera utility on the show Batwoman has easily been the coolest job thus far! I truly can’t wait until it’s safe again to get back to work on set.

Recently, a huge moment for me was being selected in a film festival for best cinematography. Did I win? Nope! But realizing that my work was selected amongst the top 5 in an international competition was eye-opening for me. It was one of those, “I might be on to something here” feelings.

I collect books and gems. I’ve always wanted a big library in my house that’s several stories high with the ladder that rolls across the bookshelves. And I love gems because I’ve always been a believer of the metaphysical, astrology, and energy.

The advice I have for other women in this industry is that it’s not an easy road. They have to be strong, seek counsel, seek mentors, seek a therapist, because the rejections will really tug at your soul.
