Hollywood Women in Film & TV: Network, Connect, Succeed

@nicolejocleen: What is your biggest concern with the future?

@nicolejocleen: What’s a defining moment in your life?

@nicolejocleen: Why did you decide to get into this industry?

I’ve had a vivid imagination ever since I was a child. I was always day dreaming and creating stories in my mind. That led to my interest in writing books which led to the decision to try film.

@chinwefilms: What’s a defining moment in your life?

The death of my father who passed away my senior year of High school. It bookended a turbulent period in my life and it inspired me to live life fearlessly.

@chinwefilms: Why did you decide to get into this industry?

My first film was Titanic and I became obsessed with cinema. I was pretty much disappointed by the industry’s lack of imagination for Black characters, so I decided the way I could change that is if I worked behind the scenes as a writer/director.  Art by GDBee
