@pattychocolatemilk: What is your biggest concern with the future? That we have a future. So much hate. But then I think back to the American slave. These women and men were able to endure and survive heinous abuse and atrocity for a quarter of a millennia, followed by the postbellum and then the Jim Crow eras, and they still managed to dance and sing and read and write and paint and fall in love and raise families. That helps me to hope and believe that good will continue to win out over evil.
