@tawnytwass @overthehighmoonproductions: What’s a defining moment in your life? This is a loaded question for me. For so long, I approached this question in the wrong way. Or maybe not so much in terms of right or wrong, but in a negative way. I thought of defining moments in my life as times when I survived something painful, because these moments shaped me, made me fight, and made me stronger. But as I got older I realized, all of these “defining” moments in my life were out of my control. They had nothing to do with me. They were done to me and absolutely did not define me. So for me the defining moment in my life was actually learning and clarifying how I define myself. I realized that I am so much more than I thought I could be. For every person that instilled in me that I couldn’t do something or that I wasn’t worth it… I did it. And I am worth it.
