The birth of both of my children, but especially my son, Nicholas, who was born 100 days early at 1 pound. Living in and out of hospitals the first 5 years of his life, made me really appreciate the beauty in the small things. Nicholas’s birth and subsequent medical challenges took me out of the film biz for long enough for me to know what was important and I’m grateful every day of my life for that.
