My biggest concern with the future is diversity being a trend, and POC getting shunned out of Hollywood and the remaining will be forced to tell only white stories again. I consider myself to be a black artist and it would be a shame if I couldn’t really delve deeper into characters like myself, simply because there are none. Of course on some level, white characters can be like me, but never a complete representation. The way I see it, is that if white little girls can get complete representation of themselves, every little girl should.
