A defining moment in my life occurred when I walked across the stage to get my Masters Degree from the University of Southern California School of cinematic arts. As they say, I did that! Getting my education was challenging. I lost a lot of friends and romantic relationships because of it.  I am very focused on achieving the goals I set for myself and getting my Masters degree was such a goal. I noticed that when you’re extremely goal oriented and determined to succeed some of the people that you hold close fall to the wayside. They feel they can’t compete with the attention given to your goals. So it was tough. I felt alone many times, but everytime I made steps toward my goal. It was the most satisfying feeling in the world. And walking across that stage was euphoric!
