My defining moment happened recently as I became the first person in my family with a Bachelors Degree in Film this past May. This was such a defining moment for me because for four years I was working very hard for this accomplishment. I did a lot of self-reflecting and was able to not only acknowledge my growth as a filmmaker but as a person too. Receiving this degree and continuously making films and working on projects has given me such a creative confidence I never thought I’d experience. The knowledge I’ve gained on and off set has made me a well-rounded filmmaker and I am so excited to continue this journey and create more films.
