That the change we so desperately need as a species won’t come fast enough. Our house is essentially on fire, and many of the people inside it are on fire. Too many people, though, don’t see the flames. From the perils of climate change to the related systems of racism, wealth inequality, and gender and sexuality discrimination, we have such a long way to go and such a short time to evolve before the suffering of marginalized folx will dramatically intensify. We have to do better and fast.
