Probably cynicism. I’m not sure when it became uncool and childish to be enthusiastic about things but I hope that changes. Cynicism appears to rob its host of motivation. I worry about how much we can get accomplished as a generation if cynicism is the status quo. 

Getting into @NYUTisch. That acceptance letter changed my life. It was a beautiful and traumatic four years. I learned how to be an artist but I also learned about politics. The latter lesson is probably what’s gotten me the furthest. Whatever combination it was, I was never the same after leaving Tisch. 

I was a really shy, sickly kid and we didn’t have a lot of money. It was the perfect storm for the makings of a bookworm. Haha, I collect quotes, stills from films that I use for inspiration AND travel souvenir shot glasses; so anytime I or someone close to me travels to a new country or city, I always want to get one from the gift shop as a token of  my travels.  

Keep on, pushing on. Believe in yourself more than someone’s belief of you. Stay committed, it will get easier.
