I’ve been fortunate to have a train of successful moments that I hope will only get bigger and better in 2021. In 2019, I was a finalist at the ABC Discovers Showcase for Directors, my films have been screen in over 50 international film festivals and counting, being featured in prestigious film festivals as both a director & producer: mostly recently premiered a short in the Asian American International Film Festival, just scored four nominations for two films that have been accepted in the Official Latino Film Festival, four festival acceptances for my social documentary “Black Lives MATTER” that’s been featured on Reclamation Magazine & Medium, the acceptance of my film “Freeze Your Brain” into the biggest poetry film festival in the world, Zebra Poetry Film Festival and many more. But also, I’d say joining these organizations: Film Fatales, Alliance of Women Directors, Latinx Directors, Chicana Director’s Initiative and many others were also successful moments.
