A successful moment in my career so far is receiving Sundance Film Institute’s Native Filmmaker’s Lab Fellowship in 2019. I had the chance to workshop my project The Daily Life of Mistress Red with wonderful filmmakers such as Jennifer Reeder and Gregory Nava who directed my favorite childhood movie Selena (1997). I’m thankful for the Indigenous program, all the opportunities and people I’ve met through this fellowship!
