My biggest concern with the future is that we as Americans have been showcasing our lack of empathy and our separation from community and its importance. The pandemic and how people responded and reacted to it really drove home this point for me. Storytelling helps with this if we all take time out of our busy schedules to listen to each other, so I still have hope for the future.
