@whitneywoot: What is a successful momen

@whitneywoot: What is a successful moment in your career so far? I would say there are two successful moments. One was walking on to the first day of my first big film ever in the art department. I didn’t know what it was but it ended up being “Tomorrowland”. I had been in a on-set car accident from a previous production and I had my right arm in a sling and carrying my really heavy desktop computer in the other as I was walked across the studio lot. I really didn’t care that I was injured, I was going to take whatever this opportunity was to work at Disney. That was pretty hilarious looking back but I also felt super successful. Even if the gig were only to last for a week, I was like, “I am on a studio lot and I’m about to work as a PA on something big and official”. That whole project was amazing for me. The other one would be when my AFI thesis film that I production designed, “First In Flight”, premiered at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Who gets to do that as a student?! We had the entire theater filled and it was filled with great friends and coworkers. It was a really surreal kind of moment. If nothing ever happens in my life, this is awesome. I made it to the Chinese theater with my own movie.
