@whitneywoot: What advice do you have for other women in the industry? I think, for me, what has worked fairly well is me just being me. I’m not trying to be anyone else, I’m not trying to be an edgy person if I’m not edgy. I’m trying not to be a fierce, boss type when that isn’t really who I am. And I think a lot of women feel pressured to be something they are not or act a certain way to get somewhere, in order to be successful. I kind of knew I could never do that. So, for me, the only reason I’ve ever gotten anywhere is because I’m kind, I’m happy and optimistic and I try to make these crazy work environments a great place to be. There’s already so much stress that you don’t need more stress from your coworkers. So I try to be a positive entity that helps get things done but also is playful and enjoys life and people. So, really, if you don’t feel you could do or act a certain way then don’t do it. Be yourself and do what comes naturally to you.
