1) Why did you decide to get into this industry?

I am not sure which industry so I am assuming the vintage community? Honestly I never really made a calculated decision to turn my hobby into my career. I just really liked vintage things and pinup and I started sharing my life on social media and a lot of girls identified with me and so I figured out how to do hair and makeup and people just started hiring me! It call kind of fell into place naturally.

2) What’s a defining moment in your life?

I feel like I consider personal life moments more defining to my life than career or hobby moments. When my sister had her babies, when I met my boyfriend, when I survived multiple heart surgeries. I have had some super fun and amazing experiences in my career, but its the meat of my life that defines me as a person.

3) What is your biggest concern with the future?

I mean, I guess I have all of the same concerns as any human. Will I be able to pay my bills? Will I stay healthy? Will the polar ice caps melt in my lifetime? Haha. I try not to worry to much about the past or the future and just focus on my present life as much as I can. It helps to keep the anxiety at bay when you are self employed!

4) What is a successful moment in your career so far?

Being able to travel and world has been the most amazing gift I could have ever asked for. Hugging girls who’s language I don’t speak but having that unspoken bond is incredible. Hearing stories of how I have touched peoples lives or how girls have been able to related to my struggle san day triumphs… it makes all of the tough days worth it!

5) What advice do you have for other women in the industry?

Again, I am not totally sure what industry we are talking about. In pinup? It’s not really an industry since there is no career in it… but it sure is a fun hobby! I encourage any woman that wants to get into pinup or any type of vintage lifestyle to just go for it and have fun and don’t care too much about what other people think or popularity.

6) What, if anything, do you collect?
