My biggest concern for the immediate future is that this nation may very well find itself in the middle of a civil war. 
And, my hope is that we are able to reach a place where we see real lasting change without that happening. 

In terms of filmmaking, I feel like I see progress, though it’s really slow progress. So, where I would have been concerned that the number of female filmmakers, female filmmakers of color, or simply filmmakers of color, period, was never going to increase, I am encouraged because I see a push for change in that area.
