I believe that art can either reflect life or it can shape it. As a black woman, I wanted to create stories that help elevate black experiences, by focusing on narratives that center around the ideals of peace, abundance, love, and our dreams coming true. You are what you think, and black people live in a world that has pushed the message that black people are lazy, violent, and stupid. My goal is to shift that propaganda with stories that uplift and shift.
