Visuals matter more than story because they add context. Film is an autopsy into an artist’s soul. It’s an art form that can transform an audience to get in touch with their humanity and yet at the same time provide an escapism that may or may not be centered in & around truth.
I come from a multi-ethnic background (Guyanese, Dominican, Indian, Chinese and British), in which; I’ve lived in & have been fully immersed into the countries, their cultures & their languages. My international background has opened my world view on compassion in storytelling and given me the best tool to navigate life, which is art; and cinema specifically. I found my way naturally being invited in this industry before I was cognizant that I wanted to remain in it and thrive; and I’m happy I did.
