The death of my father who passed away my senior year of High school. It bookended a turbulent period in my life and it inspired me to live life fearlessly.
My first film was Titanic and I became obsessed with cinema. I was pretty much disappointed by the industry’s lack of imagination for Black characters, so I decided the way I could change that is if I worked behind the scenes as a writer/director. Art by GDBee
