@mnandi_productions @makhu: What is your biggest concern with the future?
Due to Covid 19 the entertainment industry has taken a huge hit. Not sure how we will bounce back working in large groups. Our lifestyle is also unreliable so this made it worse.
@mnandi_productions @makhu: What’s a defining moment in your life?
Seeing my films on the big screen. And seeing people’s reactions and how it touches them.
@mnandi_productions @makhu: Why did you decide to get into this industry?
I wanted to be a voice for Zimbabwean women, let them know you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Women back home are deprived an education, let alone the opportunity to be a creative.

I collect magnets! I love to travel, and when we could travel I’d purchase fridge magnets from every place as an inexpensive and easy memento.
@cocoelaineg @sasha_and_condi: What advice do you have for other women in the industry?
Put blinders on. Remember WHY you want to create. Always come back to it. Remember WHO you want to write for. Always come back to it. And don’t compromise on your voice.

SEX IS A GOD THING (@sexisagodthing), is a short film I’ve collaborated on (writer, actor, and executive producer). It’s been making waves in the festival circuit – just virtually premiered at ClexaCon (@clexacon) – and a feature is currently in the works; with potential for an attached producer.

Uncertainty. History still repeating. Hard heads. My first semester in law school. It was the only time I didn’t make any A’s, only C’s. And I was not necessarily humbled, but I was enlightened by the experience.
