Being selected for Tribeca and Chanel’s Through Her Lens program was one of the highpoints of my career. I was able to connect with industry power women to break down one of my scripts. I received feedback from Jenny Lumet that made me feel seen. I also was able to talk influences and process one on one with Katherine Bigelow and she spoke to me like a contemporary and was generous with her time to nurture each of our specific stories and viewpoints. This outpouring of support from established women in the industry was monumental to me pushing forward with my projects and owning being a filmmaker.
