Do not date in the industry and don’t be afraid to speak up. Do not be afraid to say that you are a writer or an actor or whatever you want to be, because I guarantee you, a white guy with half your qualifications is telling everyone that he is. 

Right now, what I consider to be a successful moment is when people I admire notice the hard work I am putting in and let me know that they see me trying my best. Honestly, those are the moments where I smile the biggest. 

My biggest concern with the future is diversity being a trend, and POC getting shunned out of Hollywood and the remaining will be forced to tell only white stories again.
